We take pride in living up to some of the highest standards in timber certification and it is our goal to constantly improve in order to ensure environmentally appropriate management of the forest, including the protection of fauna and wildlife as well as the human rights, health and safety issues relevant for the local communities. To enforce this we also have a ‘Good Supplier Program’ which evaluates our suppliers according to a number of environmental and human rights criteria.
The responsibility that we feel in DLH can be summed up by the term ‘passion for wood’. The entire global enterprise is imbued with this attitude and our focus on value management secures that all employees act in a socially and ethically responsible way every day.
